It is with deep sadness that Piedmont HealthCare today announces the passing of Edward S. Campbell, MD. Dr. Campbell served as a Lieutenant Commander in the US Navy from 1978 to 1988. He was a founding father of Lake Norman Family Medicine and has been with Piedmont HealthCare since 1998. Dr. Campbell served on the board of Piedmont HealthCare over the years and assisted the group in becoming the area’s largest physician-owned multispecialty medical group. He had a tremendous impact on the community and the patients he cared for and was a strong advocate for coordinated, integrated healthcare, working to make his vision of superior patient care a reality.
